Roberto Alomar was arguably the greatest second baseman of his era. The Hall of Famer was a 12-time all-star who hit .300 during his 17 major league seasons from 1988 to 2004.

He also once spit on umpire John Hirschbeck during a 1996 argument, which may explain why Robbie had to wait one ballot to get elected into Cooperstown (2011) and why you don’t hear a whole lot from him post-MLB career.

Alomar has been living in Florida for more than a decade, but he recently decided to relocate to Toronto, so he’s selling his gigantic Tampa mansion for $6.55 million. The huge Mediterranean-style home is a resort-sized palace with eight bedrooms and nearly 20,000 square feet of living space inside the gated, private country club community of Avila.

If you can dig up enough cash for the sticker price, you’ll get a theater room, a wine cellar, an indoor pool, separate staff/nanny quarters and more. Just don’t spit on the realtor at the closing.

Highlights of Roberto Alomar’s Tampa Mansion:

• 8 bedrooms, 11 baths and 2 half-baths

• 18,703-square-feet

• 7.4 miles to Hush Tampa gentlemen’s club

• 1.4 miles to The Body Shop

• 2.4 miles from Whole Foods
