That Seahawks blanket would come in handy at today’s Super Bowl parade scheduled for 11 a.m. PT (2 p.m. ET). Per The Seattle Times:
Spectators should be prepared for a crowd of up to 500,000 people, and they should bundle up, because it’s going to be downright freezing.
Temperatures along the downtown parade route are expected to be in the mid-20s, says the National Weather Service. Typically, temperatures hover near 50 degrees this time of year.
Another reason to grab a blanket: if you are celebrating your city’s first major sports championship since 1979, you’ll potentially be drinking enough not to realize how cold it is. Plan accordingly.
