After an uneventful 2013 season, Jadeveon Clowney may want to get to the NFL as fast as he can. About that, well…
According to a police report, the South Carolina defensive lineman was pulled over by state police at about 7:30 p.m. on Saturday night for going 110 miles per hour on Interstate 77 in a Chrysler 300.
The posted speed limit: 70 miles per hour (gotta love those southern roads).
According to WISTV, Clowney was ticketed, but it could have been worse:
According to state law, Clowney could have been imprisoned for not more than 30 days for the violation since he was driving 25 miles per hour over the speed limit.
The Highway Patrol says no other citations were issued in the incident.
Wow. That’s serious business.
No one needs to get to the Texans’ that fast, Jadeveon. Did you see Thursday’s game? Slow down, son.
