Dude Drives His Car Down ‘Rocky’ Steps In Philly [VIDEO]

Despite its world class art collection, the Philadelphia Museum of Art is often linked to Rocky Balboa. The Rocky connection brings thousands of people each year to the steps of the Art Museum, with most visitors running or walking up and down the steps. Others are bolder.

Late Thursday night/early Friday morning, Philly gossip site Philly Chit Chat captured some asshole driving down the steps made famous by Rocky. Watch the video above to see the abject stupidity.

Obviously, driving down the Art Museum steps is highly discouraged, even in Philly where the high-low culture contrast is stark: a statue of Sylvester Stallone’s fictional boxer resides to the east of the museum that houses works by Monet, Cezanne, Picasso and Dali.

Let’s hope this doesn’t become a trend. Even rabid Philly sports fans usually steer clear of the museum steps when celebrating championships (not that they’ve had a lot of opportunities in the past 30 years).
