There were several upsets in the early going of this college football Saturday.
• In Dallas, Texas knocked off No. 12 Oklahoma, 36-20. Longhorns coach Mack Brown spent part of the game with something hanging from his lip. What was it? Your guess is as good as ours.

• Twenty-fifth ranked Missouri knocked off No. 7 Georgia in Athens, 41-26, despite losing starting QB James Franklin to a shoulder injury in the second half.
• Wisconsin drilled No. 19 Northwestern, 35-6, as the Wildcats showed a serious hangover from their loss to Ohio State last week.
• Fifth-ranked Stanford is trailing Utah, 21-14 at the half. Watch this one.
Elsewhere, No. 16 Washington gave No. 2 Oregon a scare, before folding in the fourth quarter, 45-24; No. 10 LSU beat No. 17 Florida, 17-6, and Penn State had No. 18 Michigan down, but the Wolverines have rallied in the second half.
Still to come: No. 9 Texas A&M at Ole Miss and Cal at No. 11 UCLA.
