Real estate stud Troy Aikman is at it again. The exploits of the Fox NFL color analyst in the housing world have been well-documented on Busted Coverage. Back in 2011, he wanted $24,000,000 for his Dallas estate. Then, in July, Aikman purchased a house for $4,250,000.
Now comes word that Troy bought a Highland Park, Texas house for $4.3 million and might bulldoze it to build a custom pad.
The house, at 4300 Saint Johns Dr., was sold by Jane Wolfe, a famous author and reporter.
Wolfe has not lived in the house for some time, moving years ago to a home in Paris and then New York and she has let the house to tenants such as T. Boone Pickens and Dr. Arjumand Hashmi. In 2006, Hashmi entertained his friend, then-President of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf at the house.
Even though it is a charming 73-year-old house that clocks in at about 6,000 square feet, it is probably going to go bye bye.
Aikman has long expressed to friends his plan to build a new home and the Wolfe home sits on a stunning promontory overlooking the Connor Lake section of Turtle Creek.
The place is so dumpy on the inside that the house is advertised on Zillow as a piece of property.
