It has come to this for the New York Giants. If you thought the 0-5 start was bad, now at least one New York strip club has made the executive decision to not show Giants football for the rest of the season.
The fine folks at Rick’s Cabaret were tortured by another horrible team effort that now has the Giants as a laughingstock like the Jaguars. Eli had another disgusting day, throwing three INTS in the 36-21 loss to the Eagles. The running game was equally woeful. Brandon Jacobs busted off 11 carries for 37 yards. Yawn.
We received this dispatch from the Rick’s front office late last night:
Rick’s Cabaret New York, the famous gentlemen’s club in midtown Manhattan, will no longer show NY Giants football games on the club’s numerous Hi-Def TVs and big screens. “It has become too painful to watch the Giants lose week after week,” said Rick’s Cabaret Girl Monica.
“Nobody throws a party better than Rick’s Cabaret–we are all about fun–and it’s no fun watching the Giants anymore,” explained Rick’s Cabaret Girl Lindsay. “We love the Giants, but they get the crowd at our Weekend Football Viewing Parties all depressed.”
Rick’s Cabaret Girl Alexandra discussed the Giants/Eagles game. “There’s like a hundred sexy topless girls here and everyone was exceedingly happy until it became clear during the second half that Eli Manning and the Giants were going to lose again.”Rick’s Cabaret Girl Yvonne said, “I’ve been showing off my new 34Ds and getting compliments all the time, except right after Giants games–the guys are sort of deflated–they take that football stuff too seriously!”
“We will continue to show all other NFL teams and sporting contests on our TVs,” said club spokesman Lonnie Hanover.
Notice that Mr. Hanover said the club would show all other NFL teams. When was the last time a New York strip club banned the Giants and not the Jets from their TVs? I’m stumped.
So if you’re looking for a Giants-free zone and Russian strippers around every corner, get your ass down to Rick’s. They’ll have the Jets-Falcons game tonight.
