This is the face of war. ESPN’s College GameDay and Fox Sports 1’s College Saturday are locked in a battle for college football viewers. The fight got real on Saturday morning.
Both shows featured guests who donned sunglasses (pretty much without reason). Each may have been the highlight of their respective broadcasts:
Fox College Saturday spoke to Texas Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury, the former quarterback-turned Ryan Gosling clone, in advance of the Red Raiders’ game against Kansas.
Of course, coach Kings-ling wore sunnies.

Not to be outdone, ESPN’s College GameDay countered with Brent Musburger as its guest picker for the Northwestern – Ohio State game. A Northwestern alum, Musburger showed up in shades and a nice purple jersey that seemed about two sizes too small.

So, is it safe to say the Saturday pre-game shows are quickly becoming as coveted a booking as Leno or Fallon? We’re sure the network’s programming heads love that.
Which guest wore the sunglasses look better: Musburger or Kingsbury?
