Lleyton Hewitt Selling Wild Australian House For Just $3 Million
It was bound to happen with the Athlete Real Estate series. We’ve started to branch out to foreign countries to see what athletes are selling. Recently, we went to Quebec for NHLer Simon Gagne’s house. Now BC is going Down Under to see what former tennis player Lleyton Hewitt is selling for $3,000,000 Australian dollars (pretty much even to U.S. dollar).
The house is in Adelaide.
Most notably an expansive glass roof forms a tremendous skylight and window to the heavens suspended some 14 metres above heated floor of the ‘Great Hall’.
This theme is continued with the extensive use of enormous plate glass panels as wall elements for living and bedrooms. Similarly the easily accessible indoor lap pool, spa and sauna area is open to the sky.
The guy went on to write a book about the house. Look at the photos. Either you like the house or you don’t.
Highlights of Lleyton’s Weird Aussie Pad:
• 3 bed, 4 baths
• Ever wanted a Euro kitchen?
• Do you like daylight? This house will give you plenty
