Vera Wang is a popular American fashion designer who sells all sorts of things that your wife/girlfriend/side piece really loves. Do you care about that? No, you don’t.
BUT…Ms. Wang recently redesigned the outfits of the Philadelphia Eagles’ Cheerleaders. That’s probably a little more interesting to you.
The new Eagles Cheerleaders outfits feature several jacket and top choices and more aggressive use of color. Wang also gave the squad its last uniform iteration 10 years ago, so it was time to freshen things up.
This is great and all, but we can tell you that if Chip Kelly can get the Eagles to play an entire season like they did in the first half on Monday against the Redskins, no one in Philly will care if the Eagles cheerleaders are dressed like the Mennonite women who work the stands at the Reading Terminal Market.
The Eagles open their 2013 home schedule against the San Diego Chargers on Sunday at 1 p.m. (ET) on CBS.
