Because Bridgewater is black?

Those are the correct stats for Teddy Bridgewater. Yep, 26 rushing yards in 2012. The whole year. Yet, there he was Friday on a graphic during ESPN’s high school coverage showing the top dual threat quarterbacks in college football.

He wasn’t included because he’s black, right?

You know, black quarterbacks can’t just be a pocket passer. They have to run because they’re fast and that’s what black quarterbacks do, right?

Maybe Teddy was a dual threat in 2011 when he was a freshman. Nope, he had 66 rushing yards and 4 TDs. So he had a few more goal line chances that year.

Numbers don’t lie.
