I’m back after a short three-day baseball weekend to Detroit and Chicago. As you can see in the photos below, there were your normal weirdos. Not much out of the ordinary.
I did learn that the Chicago Cubs sell game-used bases for $200 and a plastic batting helmet of nachos for $18. You can’t say Cubs management isn’t trying to make money to sign big free agents.
Meanwhile, in Detroit, the Tigers are selling a base from Miguel Cabrera’s 100th RBI game – his 10th consecutive year – for $1,000.
