ESPN Hires Dawn Davenport-Kok As Sideline Reporter

ESPN has hired Dawn Davenport-Kok as a sideline reporter for college football this fall on ESPNU. Kok is her married name; sadly she won’t be using this last name on ESPNU.

According to the War Eagle Leader:

Auburn grad Dawn Davenport, currently a sports reporter for WKRN in Nashville, will join ESPNU as the station’s prime-time sideline reporter.

Her first gig? Auburn’s season opener vs. Washington State on Aug. 31.

Seriously, she won’t be using Kok (@DawnDavenportTN) on ESPNU broadcasts. I know, I’m as pissed about that as all of you. As for the Dawn Davenport name, if it sounds a little porn-ish to you, there is a chubby ginger who goes by that name.
