Earlier in the day, Major League Baseball suspended A-Rod for 211 games — through the 2014 season — because it believes “he used and possessed testosterone and human-growth hormone over multiple years” and he took “a course of conduct intended to obstruct and frustrate the Office of the Commissioner” in conjunction with the Biogenesis case.

As expected, A-Rod will appeal the suspension, which is slated to begin on Thursday. The major media outlets have been all over this story, but, as usual, they don’t have the edge offered by Twitter users:
