Just in case you weren’t sure if the housing market was back, note that longtime NASCAR crew chief Greg Zipadelli is selling his spectacular North Carolina lake home for $6.8 million, which is $5.5 million more than he paid for it in 2007.

While serving as crew chief for Joe Gibbs Racing from 1999 to 2011, Zipadelli helped guide Tony Stewart to Sprint Cup championships in 2002 and 2005. Zipadelli has since moved on to the role of competition director at Stewart-Haas Racing.

Zipadelli’s Mooresville, NC tudor-style home has everything a redneck millionaire might desire: an eat-in, double-island gourmet kitchen, a master bathroom with built-in microwave, dishwasher and fridge and a furnished basement with a theater suitable for watching “Talladega Nights.”

The kicker: Zipadelli’s incredible house has a three-car garage. Guess he never took his work home with him.

Highlights of Greg Zipadelli North Carolina Lake House:

• 6 bedrooms, 9 baths

• 13,309-square-feet

• 22 miles to Paper Doll Lounge

• 26 long miles from Whole Foods, but just 6.1 miles to Chick-fil-A
