Donovan McNabb found himself in an end zone on Monday. After 11 years in the NFL, McNabb, who hadn’t played since 2011 with the Vikings, retired as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles.

McNabb returned to the team whose most passionate fans began booing him at the 1999 NFL Draft. Some Eagles’ fans never stopped jeering McNabb despite watching him lead the team to four NFC championship games and one Super Bowl. A few of those fans took to Twitter to reflect on McNabb’s career.
