Content from the 2013 edition of ESPN The Magazine’s “Body Issue” is leaking online. If you are into seeing the chiseled bodies of famous athletes, you’re in luck. There are a lot of dudes, though, and cheesecake is in short supply.
A notable exception is drag racer Courtney Force, who you’ve probably never watched compete because drag racing has about the same buzz as the WNBA. In the video above, Force explains how she lifted weights to get strong enough to handle a 10,000 horsepower machine which gets to 300 mph. in four seconds.
ESPN The Mag’s photography team made Force pose with a gas can, sit on a tire, stand next to a dragster and hold a dragster parachute. They did not, however, make Force drive naked (like they did to motorcyclist Tarah Gieger.
Is Person In Charge Of Telling Naked Athletes To Do Strange Things the best job in the world? Chris Berman has to be envious as hell.
