MasterChef, the Fox reality show competition featuring Gordon Ramsay and other known foodies pissing on the dreams of aspiring chefs, is a rare exception to the network drivel, maybe because Ramsay always seems like a deranged manager of a soccer team. The 11th episode of Season 4 airs Wednesday at 8 p.m. (ET).
Among the contestants this season is Jessie Lysiak. The model-turned-chef is the daughter of former NHL All-Star Tom Lysiak, who was arguably the best player in the history of Atlanta hockey before being traded to the Chicago Blackhawks during the 1978-79 season. Lysiak was once suspended for 20 games after intentionally upending a linesman after a face-off. That’s pretty bad-ass.
Jessie Lyisak inherited her dad’s toughness; she cut the hell out of her finger on last week’s show and stayed in the competition.
And just so ya’ll know…. The finger and nail grew back after 3 months:) looks 100% normal:)

She obviously didn’t get her looks from her dad, though:
