Philadelphia Eagles fans are insane. Every ugly stereotype about Philadelphia sports fans can probably be traced back to the actions of an Eagles season ticker-holder (even if they were dressed in Phillies, Flyers or Sixers gear at the time). This week, Eagles fans started preying on each other by reselling “free” tickets to Eagles training camp.
The back story is simple: once the Eagles fired head coach Andy Reid after 14 years and hired Chip Kelly, they made some other changes, like relocating their training camp from the Lehigh University facilities an hour north of the city to Lincoln Financial Field.
Earlier this week, the team offered up free tickets for the practice sessions, which Eagles fans with a chubby for Chipper desperately wanted. All good… BUT, a whole lot of Eagles fans jumped on those tickets, so they “sold out.”
Eagles training camp tickets for sale…
They are also general admission which means if you get there first you can be seated front row and have a chance for player autographs in the lower level.
It is truly a once in a lifetime experience and it is sold out.
Price is negotiable will sell for cheaper in bulk.
Seller even showed off a mad tagging game. (And, s/he wasn’t alone).
Shocking? Hell, no. Eagles fans lined up to buy Reid’s used Crocs, didn’t they? If Chip Kelly delivers a Super Bowl, they’ll shell out pay-per-view cash to watch him eat CrabFries at Chickie’s & Pete’s.
The Eagles have made more tickets available. Enjoy it while it lasts, Chipper. They’ll be calling for your head soon enough.
Hey kids, it’s SPG again. If you want to be a cool eagles fan and tailgate with me and TatMan, stay in school! pic.twitter.com/PqLqFeyDav
