The San Francisco Giants know you won’t spend the entire time at AT&T Park shelling out cash for overpriced beers and sushi burritos. What better reason to start a live paddle board race in McCovey Cove?
The Giants’ paddle board race is an awesome use of their ballpark’s natural surroundings. While Washington has racing presidents and Milwaukee has racing sausages, San Francisco elevates the in-game race by making it live and putting on the water. Things are always better with an element of danger. Somebody get Pablo Sandoval in a wet suit, stat.
