Tony Parker’s perfectly timed jumper with 5.2 seconds left beat the 24-second shot clock — and the Heat — in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night. Parker finished with 21 points in the 92-88 Spurs victory, but no shot was bigger than his last one.
The ever-excitable Dick Vitale knew how big Parker was in this game. He simply couldn’t contain himself when actress Eva Longoria — the former Mrs. Parker — weighed in with her analysis after the game.
Somehow, we don’t think Longoria will retweet Vitale’s response. Game 2 is Sunday night in Miami.
