While the Daytona 500 is the Super Bowl of NASCAR, Memorial Day weekend at Charlotte for the Coca-Cola 600 is one race USA flag shirt-wearing NASCAR fans look forward to with great anticipation. We’re talking cars going nearly 200 mph under the lights at one of the biggest Memorial Day parties in the country where the sport will honor the memory of soldiers who’ve
served this great country.
Ryan Newman, in the #39 car, will be using the Charlotte race to launch the “Built in the USA” campaign with Oral-B. The campaign will celebrate American-built products and challenge all Americans to start their day by brushing with an Oral-B’s Pro-Health® All-in-One manual toothbrush, which is built in the USA. Newman, who certainly appreciates American engineering (he holds an engineering degree from Purdue), will be representing a great American brand which builds approximately one million Oral-B manual toothbrushes a day at its Iowa City, Iowa plant.
Memorial Day weekend in Charlotte is just the first stop of Oral-B’s Built in the USA tour, which will include visiting race cities with Newman during key American holidays – Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day and Veterans Day.
Newman enters Charlotte 17th in the NASCAR standings.
