Tim Tebow Gets $30,000 Offer To Throw Footballs At Hurricane Window Covers
After being released by the New York Jets on Monday, quarterback Tim Tebow has received numerous offers that might be difficult for one of the most polarizing figures in the history of professional sports to pass up.
On Wednesday night, Storm Stoppers, a Central Florida based hurricane window protection company, offered Tebow $30,000 to throw footballs at the company’s window protection covers.
According to CBS-affiliate WKMG in Orlando:
“Tebow, a Heisman Trophy winner, would toss a football at full speed at the company’s window protection covers to demonstrate the strength of Storm Stoppers.”
It is highly doubtful that Storm Stoppers President John Smith has watched Tebow play much in the NFL, as the beleaguered quarterback has completed only 47.9 percent of passes over the course of his career.
If Tebow does in fact accept this offer, he better pray that the window protection covers are huge, as there is a limit to how inaccurate one can be.
Since his release, Tebow has received a few other offers. The Legends Football League (previously known as the Lingerie Football League) recently contacted Tebow’s representatives and asked if he would like to coach some of the fiercest female athletes in the world. Additionally, the Omaha Beef, an indoor football team, offered Tebow $75 a game to join their organization.
