FOX Sports Girl Of The Week: Kristine

‚ By

Fox-Sports-Girl-Kristine

Fox Sports Girl Kristine couldn’t have picked a better time to join the Fox Sports family in 2012. The Reds, who had only won two central division titles since 1995, would string together 97 wins to beat the Cardinals by nine games. Kristine, a longtime fan of the Reds, was around for the ride and it has left her excited for the 2013 season.

The Springboro, Ohio native and graduate of the University of Toledo, is a former cheerleader who says she can “quote Forrest Gump all day” and would choose Oprah if she could go to dinner with anyone.

As for the Reds, Fox baseball expert Ken Rosenthal says the team will win the central and are a worthy challenger to the Nats for the N.L. pennant.

Follow Kristine throughout the baseball season on Facebook and Twitter.

Who is your favorite Reds player?

Jay Bruce

Favorite member of the Big Red Machine?

Hall of Famer, Joe Morgan. The knowledge that he has of the game of baseball and in my opinion one of the better 2nd basemen of all time.

What is your fondest Reds memory?

Last year as my first year being a FOX Sports Girl. Interacting with the Reds fans and all the excitement in making the playoffs. That is something that will always stick with me.

What baseball position would you play professionally if you could, and why?

Catcher because I like the idea of being involved in every play & the equipment would make me feel tough.

Best snack at GABP? Ice cream baseball helmets?

I’m a big pizza person so you can most likely see me sitting at a game with a slice of pizza.

Kings Island or Cedar Point? Please explain.

I’m proud to say that I have experienced both parks but KI takes the cake. I mean, where else can you go to the top of the Eiffel Tower in America, other than Vegas?

Better slice: LaRosa’s or Campionis Pizzeria?

No way is there a better pizza out there than at my family’s pizzeria, Campionis.

Favorite way to get your Skyline coneys? 2-way? 3-way?

3-way

More annoying fans: Obnoxious St. Louis fan or Cubs fan who come out of the woodwork when Chicago comes to town?

Because of the rivalry that has developed between the two teams I would have to go with St. Louis.
