March Madness Legend Kevin Pittsnogle Now Selling Jeeps In West Virginia
The last time we heard from West Virginia basketball legend Kevin Pittsnogle was 2009 and he was working as a middle school teacher, making $25,000 a year and still hoping for a basketball career. Time has moved on, and the 3-point gunner who became a legend during the 2005 NCAA tournament when he led West Virginia to the Elite 8, isn’t playing basketball.
A little research this week led us to a car dealership in Martinsburg, West Virginia where Pittsnogle, a father of five, is selling new Jeeps and other random used cars.
That’s the 6-11 Pittsnogle, just 28, slinging cars for Miller’s Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.
How can’t you buy a car from this guy? He’s a legend. Name another car dealership in Martinsburg that employs a guy who dropped 25 on Louisville in the Elite 8. You can’t.
I am a Sales Consultant at Miller’s Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, and i am looking to make a name for myself in the car business. I am trying to help people not only get what they want but also what they need.
It seemed in 2009 that Pittsnogle realized what life had in store for him. He seemed resigned to the fact that he was never leaving.
“If I look the way I’m supposed to look, and play the way I’m supposed to play, I think I’ll get a chance,” Pittsnogle said. “If not, I’ll come back and live my life here.”
And he’s back home living his life.
And working like a dog to provide for those five kids. If you have a feeling Pittsnogle didn’t have much growing up, you’d be correct. This guy still has it.
Now go test drive a Jeep and talk the good old days with Kevin. Something tells us this guy would enjoy a nice basketball chat. Call to set an appointment – (304) 263-8821.
