Sunday was a quiet fight day in the NHL so let’s go to the AHL where St. Patrick’s Day was a time to impress the locals with the ultra-rare brawl ON THE bench.

You’ve heard of bench clearing brawls.

But, have you ever heard of a guy – from the opposing team – fighting his way down a bench? Probably not.  Just look at this stat sheet, specifically at the 19:56 mark of the 3rd period. There are 27 penalties in this brawl.
