Poker Legend Greg ‘Fossilman’ Raymer Arrested In Prostitution Bust
Greg ‘Fossilman’ Raymer was arrested last night in a prostitution bust at a North Carolina hotel. TMZ had initially reported that the bust involved a male prostitute, but new reports have surfaced that state the prostitutes were in fact female. Raymer just couldn’t order the hooker correctly.
Gregory Paul Raymer, 48, was one of six men who responded to an advertisement posted by undercover police on a popular website men often seek out female prostitutes. The men face misdemeanor charges of prostitution and attempted crimes against nature.
Raymer has made over $7.2 million throughout his poker career, including a $5 million in 2004 after winning the WSOP. He was released on $1,000 bond.
Fun Fact:
Another one of the men in the bust was 41-year old Christopher Burell Shella, the attorney for Duke Lacrosse accuser Crystal Mangum. He defended her after her 2011 murder accusations.
Meanwhile, Fossilman didn’t miss a beat by getting right back into the tweet game as his mugshot was being splattered on TMZ.
The best move after trying to buy a hooker? Give money to kids.
