Gus Johnson Has Massive Gus-gasm After Illinois Buzzer Beater [VIDEO]
Remind me again why CBS let Gus Johnson walk back in 2011? Johnson was at it again at the end of the Illinois-Minnesota game this afternoon. The game was tied when Illinois inbounded the ball with around :15 seconds on the clock. Guard Brandon Paul dribbled the ball slowly up the court.
He dribbled, dribbled and dribbled some more until he settled for a mid-range fadeaway jumper. Then, Gus took over:
- 15-FOOTAHHH-AHHH!
- AT THE BUZZER!
- AND ILLINOIS BEATS MINNESOTA 51-49!!
- AT THE BUZZER!
- WELCOME TO THE BIG TEN!
Illinois won 51-49, advancing to the second round of the Big Ten tournament. Long live Gus Johnson.
