I’m So White: Jamie Collins Turns In 11’7″ Broad Jump At NFL Combine & I Gasp

Look, as a white guy, I know my athletic abilities are limited. Chasing down a beer from the fridge is no biggie, but you put me on the broad jump line at the NFL Combine and it’s a disaster. Then there is this dude Jamie Collins out of Southern Miss. The guy is 6-3, 250 pounds and went 11′ 7″ on the broad jump. That’s a Combine record.

Olympic long jumper Marquise Goodwin only went 11′.

How crazy is the Collins broad jump? He could clear the world’s largest iPod dock if it was laying on the Lucas Oil Stadium field. The guy also went 41.5″ on the vertical jump; the combine record is 42.5.
