NHL Fights: Wayne Simmonds Vs. Matt Martin (Boomer Esiason’s Future Son-In-Law)

You might remember that New York Islanders tough guy Matt Martin is dating Sydney Esiason, Boomer’s daughter. It seems that the kids are still romantically involved and the relationship is going strong.

And Martin is still doing his job with the Islanders.

Last night, Boomer’s future son-in-law dropped the gloves with Flyers tough guy Wayne Simmonds for a friendly brawl after Martin drilled one of the Flyers low into the boards. Simmonds did what he had to do and the Flyers drilled the Islanders, 7-0.

It was just another sad night on Long Island.
