Ryan Miller Makes Great Save, Has NSFW Postgame Rant As Sabres Lose [VIDEO]

Ryan Miller of the Buffalo Sabres played a great game in goal against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday — Hockey Day in America, in case you didn’t know. With the game tied 3-3 with just over three minutes left in the third period, Miller darted to his left to make a glove save on James Neal’s one-timer.

Unfortunately for Miller, the Penguins won 4-3 when defenseman Paul Martin scored with 2:04 left. After the game Miller was asked about the loss and turnovers in the defensive zone. Turns out, Ryan Miller does not like turnovers or losing. (Audio here.)

Miller: “…Teams are gonna come hard, especially if they sense we have trouble getting out…”

Reporter: “Seems to be bugging you…”

Miller: “Well, just f*cking losing again. It’s 3-3 you get to overtime; it’s 3-2, f*cking make ‘em come all the way down. Just..work too hard. I don’t know. Just…”

“We’re neither confident enough or experienced enough with a lead in the third period, and it burned us. It’s not acceptable.”

Buffalo is 6-9-1, last in the Northeast Division of the Eastern Conference.
