LSU Baseball Boasts Best Concessions In NCAA (Look At This Menu!)

It’s no secret that the food in the South is nothing short of incredible. When BC went to the LSU-Alabama football game we were blown away by the endless jambalaya, the blackened gator and all other sorts of Cajun delicacies.

This latest update on the LSU Baseball Facebook page is already making our mouth water for our next trip down to Baton Rouge.

They announced that for the upcoming 2013 season, the concessions at Alex Box Stadium will feature an array of new and exciting items. They’ll be available at the Bayou Cafe locations throughout the stadium.

The items are as follows:

  • Roasted Cajun Corn On The Cob
  • Stuffed Crawfish Pie
  • Stuffed Meat Pie
  • Stuffed Asiago Mushroom w/ Roasted Pepper Pie
  • Stuffed Seafood Pistolettes w/ Crab, Shrimp, Crawfish (Served w/ Side of Jambalaya)
  • Chicken & Sausage Jambalaya
  • Swamp Seeds (see below)
  • Catfish Po-boys (Available Each Friday During Lent)

Wow. And you wonder why we make special trips to places like LSU. The food and experience is half the fun down there.

Looks like we’ll be seeing you soon Baton Rouge. Have a few stuffed meat pies and swamp seeds ready for our arrival.

The Tigers kick-off the 2013 season this Friday at home against Maryland.
