MICHIGAN’S GOING TO WIN THE NATIONAL TITLE! MICHIGAN IS A #1 SEED! MICHIGAN IS BACK! MICHIGAN IS DOMINANT! MICHIGAN WILL BE CUTTING DOWN THE NETS IN ATLANTA!

And then Michigan went to East Lansing last night and got pounded, 75-52.

We’ve tried to warn you guys to not worry about college basketball until March Madness, but you just won’t listen. You get all excited about a game on February 12 and then the Wolverines get drilled. You still have another month of regular season basketball. The Big Ten tournament doesn’t start until March 14.

Everyone calm down.

Yes, I see the “Joran turning 50″ gaffe. But let’s take a look at that “X Games event removed.”

You might remember how a freestyle snowmobiler died last month from injuries sustained during a crash. Ironically, freestyle snowmobiling will be removed from the X Games France in March.

“Our review of snowmobile freestyle continues, and in the meantime we have decided to forego the planned demonstration freestyle event at X Games Tignes,” ESPN said in a statement Tuesday.

It took a death to come to the conclusion that this sport might just not be remotely safe. Hey, it’s nothing that a cold Red Bull can’t solve. Sad.
