It’s an absolute shame that Cam Newton (remember, we own his BCS game pants) even has to address an Internet hoax while doing the press rounds at Super Bowl XLVII. But that’s exactly what he did today during a visit with Fox Sports’ Laura Okmin.

Cam actually walked into the New Orleans Convention Center under his own power and made his way to different sets without the help of a wheelchair.

Again, he’s fine.
