Falcons Saftey Thomas DeCoud Gives You His Middle Finger

If former 49ers’ great Ronnie Lott had Thomas DeCoud’s middle finger, he might cut it off. DeCoud, a free safety for the Atlanta Falcons, damaged his finger in the final regular season game against Tampa Bay on Dec. 30. DeCoud since suffered through a playoff win over Seattle, the NFC Championship Game loss to San Francisco and the Pro Bowl.

That’s right; DeCoud played in the Pro Bowl while other players blew it off for mystery injuries (and bar fights). DeCoud is getting surgery on the finger today at a hospital in the Bay Area.

Between DeCoud and J.J. Watt, the teams are lucky they weren’t pruning fingers on the sidelines next to Michelle Tafoya. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell owes these guys some big ups.
