Yes, that was Mark Schlereth talking about Tim Tebow to Hannah Storm at Super Bowl XLVII Media Day without knowing that they were live. Folks, this is how an ESPN intern gets fired. Was a full-time employee responsible for the hot mic or the missed communication? Highly likely.

Will an intern lose his/her spring gig? Yes.

As for what Schlereth says, there’s actually nothing wrong with what he says if you ignore the company line that no ill words be spoken about Baby Jesus.

There’s a reason Mark was speaking softly about Tebow not adjusting to the tight end position. Shhhhh. It’s not good for business.

At least Mark backed up his words on Twitter.
