Notre Dame Campus Silent After BCS Loss; No Arrests, Disturbances
It’s not exactly a crazy campus to begin with. Never been to Notre Dame? It’s a college thrown into a forest with a couple big ponds. There’s one new strip of businesses on one side of campus where there are 2-3 bars. That’s it.
Police in South Bend say they haven’t had any reports of disturbances after Notre Dame was blown out by Alabama 42-14 in the BCS championship game.
A woman answering the phone at the South Bend Police Department early Tuesday who declined to give her name says there were no reports of problems in the northern Indiana city following the loss late Monday night. The campus in northern Indiana was quiet because students are still on holiday break.
