North Carolina Cheerleading Coach Arrested For Sexual Activity With Student

The Charlotte Observer is reporting there is a new cheerleading coach sex scandal developing at a local high school that involves the varsity cheerleading coach and a student. Kristina Ngum, 43, is also a special education teacher.

Cops say Ngum was arrested after the student Ngum is accused of assaulting, was picked up on a drug charge. Ngum’s husband, reached by the Observer, didn’t know his wife was arrested.

“That is not my wife,” he told The Observer in a phone interview. “She would not do that,” he said, adding that his wife often goes out of her way to help her students. “I would say that she is too overcaring.”

Ngum’s husband said he was shocked to learn from The Observer that his wife had been arrested. He said he thought she had gone to give police a statement about the male student who was arrested on the drug charge.

That’s never the way a cheerleading coach husband wants to find out that his wife might’ve been slutting it up with a student.

Looks innocent to us.
