As you’d expect, New York Yankees hats, once again, led all sports teams in robbery gear during 2012. In 2010, the New York Times reported about how crime blotters were littered with Yankees hat criminals: “A curious phenomenon has emerged at the intersection of fashion, sports and crime: dozens of men and women who have robbed, beaten, stabbed and shot at their fellow New Yorkers have done so while wearing Yankees caps or clothing.”

But Busted Coverage is about more than just Yankees fans robbing Manhattan banks. We’re about Miami Marlins fans robbing banks in Minnesota. We’re about Ohio State fans robbing grocery store banks. We’re about Phillies fan wearing an epic fake beard during a bank robbery. We’re about NASCAR guy pulling a heist.

    Only list those relevant to the work you do, and resist the temptation to tell them about every qualification you have. If you have a degree, for example, theres no point listing all of your qualifications from school (you may want to say how many you have) as they have been superseded. All you will do is use up valuable space on irrelevant information.
