Christian Ponder & Samantha Steele Get Married – In Wisconsin [UPDATE]

Samantha Steele and Christian Ponder got married Monday, according to Minnesota court documents, reports a Minnesota newspaper. The couple were married late in the afternoon Monday, Dec. 17, in St. Croix County Court (Hudson, WI), which is 50 miles from where Ponder resides in Tonka Bay, Minnesota.

Hudson is the first Wisconsin city on I-94 after you leave Minnesota.

The Pioneer Press reports:

Ponder, 24, and Steele, who turned 27 last week, were married by Court Commissioner Stephen Dunlap.

According to county records, Steele listed an Arizona address, while Ponder listed his residence as Excelsior, Minn.

You might remember how Busted Coverage tipsters figured out that the two were dating in October, which led to Ponder publicly saying they were dating. Then there was the engagement via Christmas lights a couple weeks ago.

Now the courthouse wedding.

Samantha Steele spent the night before her wedding sorta fighting with Twitter followers over wording of a Newtown, Connecticut tweet. Meanwhile, Ponder has gone silent on Twitter.
