Montana Newspaper’s Kobe Bryant Headline Missing A Zero

It took 35 minutes or so of digging before we figured out that this Kobe Bryant 3,000th point headline is courtesy of the Daily Inter Lake newspaper in Kalispell, Montana. With a circulation of 14,696, it’s the largest newspaper in northwest Montana.

Knowing what we know about the newspaper industry at the moment, that means there aren’t many gatekeepers before an issue is put to bed.

The Daily Inter Lake was just going about its business, working hard for the locals and then this headline comes along. We have a suspicion the DIL is about to get some attention on a few blogs and Reddit.

Hang in there, headline writer. It’s a Friday, the 15 minutes of fame will fade rather quickly.
