It’s a Busted Coverage tradition unlike any other. The annual “Athletes Killing Animals” post always seems to fire up the PETA crowd, give hunters an erection and cause tofurkey eaters to puke. But it’s that time of year when we celebrate dropping an 8-point buck or blasting a round into a turkey that’s turned into a meal.

And before you condemn BC for only showing NASCAR rednecks blasting elk, be aware that Bo Jackson, Karl Malone, Barry Bonds, Jermaine Dye and Adrian Peterson make the cut. These guys don’t mind dropping a meal like a rock.

So eat up, all you red blooded Americans who enjoy a good piece of animal meat. It’s our time to shine and put the turkey back in Thanksgiving.
