Who knew the Marlins had such passionate fans? The stadium is always empty so it came as quite a shock that so many Marlins bros were pissed off after yesterday’s blockbuster trade. Owner Jeffrey Loria caught the brunt of the anger and hate, including numerous death and rape wishes. Really? All this over a washed up Mark Buehrle? An overpaid, injury prone Jose Reyes?

One bro, @tillmanlozano said: “I’ve never hated anyone on a Miami team. But F*CK YOU LORIA!!!!! GO F*CK YOURSELF!!!!! I HOPE YOU GET YOUR ASS RAPED IN HELL YOU BITCH!!!” The salary dump was monumental.

According to USA Today:

Including an earlier trade of Heath Bell, the Marlins will have shed $186 million in future salaries this offseason. Counting the $50.5 million in salary due infielders Hanley Ramirez and Omar Infante – who were traded at midseason – the Marlins have dumped $236 million in future salaries since July.

It might be tough to swallow now, but this might actually be a beneficial move for the team in the long run. Calm down Marlins bros, don’t kill Jeff Loria just yet.
