Canadian Footballer Ventrell Jenkins Says “I Love You” As He Beats His Fiancee Unconscious [Cuff 'Em]

Yes, Ventrell Jenkins had a short offseason stint with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2009. Yes, Jenkins was arrested last week for beating his fiancee. Yes, Jenkins was unfazed when cops blasted him with a Taser multiple times.

Jenkins, a former Kentucky Wildcat, is on the Montreal Alouettes roster but hasn’t played since suffering a knee injury in September. Back home in South Carolina, cops say they caught the 6-2, 305 lb. defensive tackle rearranging his fiancee’s face.

According to the police report, cops caught Jenkins punching fiance Deidre Hudson, 44, repeatedly in the face while saying, “I love you.”

The reporting officer noted that Hudson “had severe lacerations to her face, extreme swelling to the right side of her face and bruising to the point of her being unrecognizable.”

According to the The State (Columbia), Jenkins is lucky he didn’t get shot by cops.

As Hudson lay unconscious on the ground, the deputy fired his Taser at Jenkins, but Jenkins grabbed the Taser. The deputy then drew his pistol, but was immediately bitten on the right calf by a pit bull.

Another deputy arrived, and while he and the first deputy were trying to handcuff Jenkins, the pit bull then bit the second deputy.
