Georgia Vs. Florida Cocktail Party 2012: Here Comes Hurricane Sandy!

There are two huge storylines with the 2012 version of the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party in Jacksonville.

1. Can Florida (7-0) beat Georgia (6-1), keep its perfect record and roll to November 24 against Florida State and a possible BCS Championship? Georgia won last year, 24-20.

2. Will Hurricane Sandy drill Jacksonville. Forecasters predict heavy thunderstorms Friday night and Saturday with sustained winds of 30 mph. Obviously not great football or outdoor drinking weather.

High school football games in Daytona Beach have already been moved to Friday night. As of now the Cocktail Party will go on.
