Chris Cooley Selling Virginia Mansion With Elevator For Only $2.5 Million [PHOTOS]
The sad saga of Chris Cooley’s football career and personal life continues to get uglier. The former Redskins tight end is now to the selling his house stage. Of course you know he’s getting divorced from his smokeshow ex. Now comes the news that he has listed his 13,000 sq. ft. Leesburg, Virginia mansion.
Did I mention he’s listing it at a loss?
Remember, rich athletes, the eff-you money won’t be coming in forever. Let’s see what the realtor has to say about this insane house:
Estate Living at its finest in Loudoun County. Absolutely no amenity over looked in this 4 sided stone home featuring 6 bedrooms, 6 full baths and 3 half baths. Over 13,000 sqft of luxury living incl. a chef’s kitchen, media room, wine cellar, master dressing room and an elevator. Privately situated on over 3.5 acres complimented by a pool, spa, patio, bar, and deck. Truly an exceptional home!
Cooley was due $3.8 million in salary this year and $3.85 million in 2013 before being cut in training camp. However, he was re-signed over the weekend by the Redskins thanks to a Fred Davis injury. We assume that was at the NFL minimum.
Highlights of Chris Cooley’s Forever Home:
• Of course the 6 bedrooms & 9 bathrooms (3 half)
• The theater is more like a walk-in closet; one of the worst we’ve seen.
• Look at that master bathroom. INSANE! Couldn’t save the marriage.
Mortgage: About $9k/mo. before you figure in a team of Mexicans for the lawn & Virginia taxes
