Obviously the Yankees choked last night. With CC Sabathia on the mound the offense laid a complete egg (again) en route to an 8-1 loss. Tigers fans went nuts. The early game led to early drinking and a long night of partying. Then Mitt Romney stepped in. He set Twitter on fire with one simple tweet:

Yes, this is the same man who wrote an op-ed for the New York Times called “Let Detroit Go Bankrupt”. Obviously there was more to his article than just “let Detroit go bankrupt”, but try telling that to Tigers fans.

They went nuts on Mitt and in many different ways. Some nerdy white guys tried to be all political, but of course there was a fair amount of NSFW nonsense thrown around too. Our favorite has to be @_LoyaltyAlways dropping some knowledge: “hoe ass mitt romney trying to shoutout the tigers bitch we already know you don’t f*** with detroit.. hoe ass pumpfaker.“
