From the moment the Red Sox announced the hiring of Bobby Valentine, things have been rocky. Sure he had his cute introductory press conference, but that was long forgotten after the dreadful start the Sox had to the 2012 season. Then it was the Youkilis falling out. Now this…on Tuesday the Red Sox players requested a sit down with ownership on the state of the team and Bobby V. Twitter went nuts and wants to see Bobby V get canned…like now!

Of course, Dustin Pedroia came out today denying the meeting had anything to do with Valentine’s job. You’re not fooling us. Will Valentine get canned by the end of this season? Not likely. That would be management admitting failure. It’ll happen in the off-season when the Patriots are like 11-1.
