Today we tackle the Oakland Raiders cheerleaders and superfans. Like most of you, we are itching for football season to start. In the midst of the dog days of summer, many get sick of baseball and start turning their attention to football. Don’t blame you a bit. The Raiderettes are going to be vastly more interesting and successful than the Raiders themselves. Could be a long year in Oakland!

Is Carson Palmer really the answer for the Raiders? The guy had one, maybe two good seasons and they broke the bank to bring him to Oakland. The dude is slow, injury prone and lacks that edge you like to see in your quarterback. Between him and Darren McFadden, you’re looking at around 16 games lost to injury. Have fun.

Speaking of McFadden and his frequent injury issues, the Raiders let their biggest insurance policy walk. RB Michael Bush is now a member of the Chicago Bears where he will split the load with Matt Forte. If you are Oakland, why not keep Bush on board? Couple that with the loss of QB Jason Campbell and the Raiders could be in for a long year in the AFC West.
