Busy watching the Olympics? There are other sports to worry about. Like baseball. Remember that sport? There was a fiasco last night surrounding the outcome of the Red Sox-Tigers game. The Red Sox had a 4-1 lead in the sixth inning when the rain really started to worsen. An hour and 45 minutes later, the game was called. Seems routine, right? Wrong. The Tigers had the bases loaded, tying run on first, winning run at the plate! JUMP!

What makes his screw-up even worse is the fact that the Tigers are 2.5 games back from both the division lead and an AL Wild Card spot. Yeah, you think this game meant something to them? Sounds petty complaining about a single baseball game, but when the race is this tight every win counts.

Just another black eye for our buddy, Bud Selig and the MLB. How can something like this happen? Sure the rain might have been bad, but you have to play a situation like that out.
